The HAUSHERR Stripping Benches make dismantling drill rods and hammers quicker and easier than standard manual methods. Full automated and hydraulically operated, the bench may be used in any location.
Mark I: up to 160mm diameters
Mark II: up to 200mm diameters
Simply slide the rod or hammer into the guide bushes and position the joint in the centre of the two sets of clamps. Operate the 1st stage clamp to grip the rod or hammer. Operate the release valve and the second clamp will grip the other half. At a predetermined pressure, this will actuate the unscrewing cylinder, breaking the tool joint. Release the clamps and the joint can be unscrewed normally by hand. If the threads are tight, repeat the above process until the threads are unscrewed.
A remote hydraulic power source is required for operations or can be supplied.
